ABOUT SYNGENTA JUVENILES F.C.
Welcome to Syngenta Juveniles Football Club, a community-driven football club with a rich history dating back to 1960. Our club was born when four dedicated colleagues from the ICI dyes factory came together to form the very first ICI Juveniles team. The club's nickname, “The Dyes,” has stuck with us over the decades, and even today, many still refer to us by this name—a tribute to our origins.
At Syngenta Juveniles, we are passionate about nurturing young football talent and fostering a love for the game in players of all ages. Our club is home to teams that span various age groups, providing a safe, secure, and fun environment for children to learn and develop their football skills. With a focus on promoting both individual growth and teamwork, our players are coached by a team of experienced and dedicated professionals who share our mission of providing high-quality football training.

Beyond football, we are a community that values inclusion and family involvement. We actively encourage parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, or anyone interested in contributing their time and skills to join us as volunteers. Whether it's becoming a Team Secretary, a Team Treasurer, or helping out in other capacities, we welcome everyone who wants to be a part of this supportive community.
We are particularly proud of our Pan Disability section, which ensures that football is accessible to all, regardless of physical or learning disabilities. In addition, our Walking Football section offers a fun, slower-paced version of the game, designed for older players or those looking to stay active while enjoying the sport they love.
One of the unique programs we offer is our “Dinky Dyes” community project. Through this initiative, we provide free football sessions three times a week for children aged 18 months to 4 years. These sessions introduce young children to the basics of football, instilling a love for the game from an early age and allowing them to develop their motor skills in a fun, structured environment.
For those with ambitions to pursue football at higher levels, Syngenta Juveniles offers a clear player pathway. Our players have the opportunity to progress through the ranks, from Juveniles to U20s and eventually to senior football with our partner club, Bo’ness Athletic FC. This pathway provides talented young players with the support and resources they need to continue their football journey into adulthood.
Syngenta Juveniles Football Club is more than just a football club; we are a registered charity (SCO41381) and a vital part of the local community. The running of the club is overseen by a committed group of Executive Committee members, who work tirelessly to ensure the club operates smoothly and continues to grow and thrive.
Whether you’re a parent looking to introduce your child to football, a volunteer eager to support your local community, or a player aspiring to develop your skills, Syngenta Juveniles FC welcomes you. Come join “The Dyes” and be part of our proud history and exciting future!
